A first-year 911 S completed in June 1967 and delivered new to Hollywood, California, in Slate Gray over black leatherette. The short-wheelbase coupe was subsequently converted to a competition car and campaigned extensively on the West Coast and in the Rocky Mountain region for several decades. Acquired in 2012 and returned to original specification through a comprehensive restoration by a Porsche specialist, it is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity and a copy of the factory Kardex.

    Comprehensive restoration back to factory specification: roll-cage removed, fuel cell replaced with correct period tank, complete new interior fitted using Autos International materials, trim and detail components sourced from a 1967 912 donor car, and all instruments overhauled.

    Restoration also included correct Weber 40IDS3C carburetors and period-correct tires. Certificate of Authenticity and Kardex copy are on file.

  3. Modification

    Converted to race car specification: interior and trim stripped out, full roll-cage fabricated and installed, safety fuel cell fitted in place of the standard tank.
