Chevron B16 chassis DBE 27, built in 1970 and delivered new to Swiss racing driver Jo Siffert, is among the most historically layered examples of this celebrated Lancashire-built sports-racing coupé. It reportedly featured in Steve McQueen's Le Mans film, then passed to Arthur Blank who scored an immediate debut win. Following an accident the car was rebuilt progressively through B19 spyder and B21 configurations, racing in Interseries, hillclimbs, and endurance events. A comprehensive restoration to B16 specification was completed in 2009, returning it to Blank's 1970 livery with FIA HTP papers.
