Ferrari 250 GT chassis 1717 GT was built with Pinin Farina coupé coachwork and delivered new to Switzerland in early 1960. Following a crash in 1965, the chassis was repaired and shortened by Vaccari e Bosi, then completely re-bodied by Piero Drogo's Carrozzeria Sports Cars in an aerodynamic coupé style, completed in October 1966. The car passed through French, Spanish, Swiss, British, and Mexican ownership before arriving in Belgium, accumulating a well-documented history of historic motorsport appearances across Europe and North America.
