- Dark grey nitrocellulose

The third Mercedes-Benz 300 Sc ever produced, chassis 188.014.5500003 is a coupé first registered in December 1955 to Daimler-Benz AG as a factory development vehicle for the new Bosch direct fuel injection system. Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut was among those who drove it during this period. It later passed to BP Hamburg, possibly for fuel-compound evaluation. Showing only 26,000 km when rediscovered around 2007, it subsequently underwent a thorough nut-and-bolt restoration by leading specialist Kienle Autotechnik, returning it to factory specification with original nitro-cellulose paintwork and correct grey leather interior.

Where original components were unavailable, reproductions were made from factory drawings.
