Powered by Aurelio Lampredi's twin-cam four-cylinder engine and clothed in lightweight alloy coachwork with the trademark double-bubble roof, it was campaigned successfully in Italian hillclimbs in 1963 by its first owner, Alberto Luti. Restored in the 1990s under the stewardship of noted historian Maurizio Tabucchi, it has since passed through several countries and is presented in silver over red.
