Chassis 1307GT is the 23rd of 50 long-wheelbase Ferrari California Spiders, completed in early 1959 and delivered new to Prince Alvise Hercolani of Bologna. It carries several rare factory options including open headlights, Superamerica-style front fender vents, a hooded air intake, velocity stacks with cold-air box, and a hardtop. The car passed through notable ownership including German racing driver Wolfgang Seidel, under whom it competed at a 1960 airfield race, before spending thirty years with a single American owner. A full restoration was completed in Italy around 2001, and the car subsequently appeared at Meadow Brook, Pebble Beach, and the Cavallino Classic, receiving Ferrari Classiche matching-numbers certification.
