A factory-built 1960 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Veloce, one of just 1,203 examples produced, delivered new to Hoffmann Motor Car Co. in New York and subsequently owned for nearly five decades by Florida-based radio personality William 'Weird Beard' Vermillion Jr. Following extended storage, the car underwent a documented five-year concours-level restoration by MAS Restorations in Las Vegas, returning it to better-than-new condition with its original drivetrain intact. It has since earned multiple concours awards, including a Certificato D'Oro at the 2019 Alfa Romeo Owner's Club event.

Comprehensive concours-level rebuild carried out over approximately five years after the car emerged from long-term storage. Bodywork was stripped to bare metal, treated with epoxy primer, and refinished in the correct original single-stage urethane colour. Interior was re-trimmed in period-correct materials using the original seats and carpeting as reference. The entire drivetrain was rebuilt, with the engine top-end completed by Norm Racing and the bottom-end by Universal Automotive and Rebuilding. A new Stayfast convertible hood was fitted.
Work is documented by over 160 in-progress photographs plus approximately 100 photographs taken at completion. Both engine sub-contractors were based in Las Vegas.
