1950 Go-On II Special
- Engine
- 2.5L inline-six (Alfa Romeo 6C 2500), triple-carbureted

The Go-On II Special is a unique home-constructed racing car built by Swedish motorsport pioneer Gunnar Olsson for the 1950 Nordic Special season, a FIA-affiliated Formula 1-regulation series he co-founded. The spaceframe chassis incorporates Jaguar SS running gear and Alfa Romeo 6C components, with coachwork by Svedbergs evoking the Alfetta 158 voiturette. Powered by a triple-carbureted Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 engine, Olsson campaigned it across Scandinavian events — including ice races — through 1954, after which it passed to a Swedish automotive museum where it remained for over five decades.

Maintenance & restoration
- 1950Modification
Original Lancia Astura engine replaced with a triple-carbureted Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 unit, differentiating the car from the predominantly V-8-powered field.
Change made during the active racing period; exact timing within the 1950–1954 span is not specified but described as a prompt early upgrade.
- —Restoration
Sympathetic mechanical restoration carried out by the consignor after 2015, with many period-correct replacement components sourced from Italy; overall appearance and specification kept faithful to the car's final race-trim condition from 1954.
A replacement fuel tank was fabricated by Swedish specialist Motorima; this was noted as the principal departure from full period originality.
