1929 Duesenberg Model J Murphy Convertible Coupe

Duesenberg Model J chassis J-147, bodied with a Murphy Convertible Coupe through a documented body swap with J-121 (originally owned by Philip K. Wrigley of the Chicago Cubs), later passed to baseball executive Bill Veeck before a long American ownership chain culminating in a full restoration by Al Prueitt & Sons. Shown at Pebble Beach in 2009 and awarded at Amelia Island in 2011, the car holds Auburn Cord Duesenberg Club Category 1 Certified status and has been inspected by the club on three separate occasions.
