Full professional build to FIA race specification, incorporating an 8007 ET engine with tuftrided crank, race pistons, stage 3 cylinder head, lightened and balanced flywheel, twin HS4 carburettors, oil cooler, wide radiator with multi-blade fan, close-ratio four-speed gearbox, competition differential and clutch, Hi-Lo adjustable suspension, front disc brakes with S-type calipers, Minifin rear drums, full roll cage, internally routed brake lines, heated windscreen, plumbed fire suppression system, and Vortz rose-petal wheels.
Work was undertaken prior to the 2009 Goodwood Revival in response to the St Mary's Trophy being opened exclusively to Mini Coopers. Build photographs are included in the history file. Described as having been carried out at considerable cost.
