A mechanical and cosmetic restoration around 2002 changed the colour to red, which was later corrected back to factory Blu Chiaro. A replacement unnumbered engine block was fitted at some point; the original cracked matching-numbers block accompanies the car. Final running-in and finishing work was completed in 2023 under the current consignor.
