A 1965 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Fixed Head Coupé, chassis 1E31723, comprehensively reimagined in 2024 by restomod specialists Helm Motorcars in collaboration with leather designer Bill Amberg Studios. Designated 'The Rhode Island Commission', it is the third of a limited run of 20 bespoke builds, finished in metallic British Racing Green over ochre semi-aniline calf suede. The project consumed approximately 3,800 man-hours and cost nearly $600,000, blending period aesthetics with modern mechanical and technological upgrades.

    Full ground-up restomod rebuild encompassing a fuel-injected 4.2-litre engine with calibrated ECU, Tremec five-speed gearbox, Öhlins adjustable suspension with poly bushes, four-wheel vented disc brakes with aluminium calipers, reinforced chassis and engine frame, electrophoretic BRG bodywork with hand-polished nickel brightwork, and a bespoke ochre suede and aluminium interior with modern driver aids including speed-sensitive power steering, heated windscreen, soft-close doors, and a seven-speaker Apple CarPlay system.

    Project required approximately 3,800 man-hours at a total cost of nearly $600,000; only around 100 miles accumulated since completion.
