Chassis 46810 is one of three Delahaye 135 S models operated by the husband-and-wife Écurie Bleu team of Laury and Lucy Schell, built to 1936 Le Mans regulations and nicknamed 'Blue Buzz II'. It raced extensively through 1936–1937 under driver René Carrière, then passed to Eugène Chaboud and Écurie Francia for the 1939 season, including a Le Mans entry. After decades off the circuit, the car was fully restored to its 1939 Écurie Francia aluminium coachwork by Carrosserie Bonnefoy, retaining its original matching-numbers chassis and engine.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
