The 1966 Lamborghini 400 GT 'Interim' is one of only 23 examples built before Lamborghini replaced the two-seat body with the larger 2+2 configuration, making it a rare transitional model in the marque's early history. Delivered new in Spain, reportedly to the president of CD Málaga football club, and registered in Madrid, the car spent many years dormant in a Palma de Mallorca garage before being rediscovered as a barn find. Subsequent cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment returned it to its original Vincennes Grey Metallic finish with a tan leather interior.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
