A left-hand drive 1958 Jaguar XK 150 S 3.4 OTS, completed on 5 May 1958 and originally delivered to Mexico in Cream over Red. The car was subsequently restored under prior ownership, winning Best of Show and Best European Car at the 2016 Mexico International Concours d'Elegance from a field exceeding 400 entries. Following acquisition by the consignor, a comprehensive mechanical rebuild and interior retrim were carried out, including a bored engine displacing 4.2 litres and a custom five-speed transmission.

    Comprehensive engine rebuild including performance camshafts, manganese-bronze valve guides, custom-ground crankshaft, 3.8-spec Mahle pistons, cylinder boring to raise displacement to approximately 4.2 litres, plus replacement of numerous consumables and rebuilt components totalling over 46 line items and 150 individual parts.

    Welsh Enterprises

    The original numbers-matching four-speed manual gearbox with overdrive was replaced by a bespoke five-speed unit of recent manufacture, based on the Cosworth MT75 platform and paired with a lightweight flywheel. The original transmission is retained and included with the car.

  4. Restoration

    A comprehensive restoration was carried out under prior ownership, encompassing at minimum the exterior repaint in Imperial Maroon and fitting of a new convertible top.
