1973 Ford Capri 2600
- Engine
- 2.6L V6

The Ford Capri RS 2600 was a homologation special developed for European Touring Car Championship competition in the early 1970s, produced in very limited numbers with a 2,637cc V6 engine, uprated suspension, close-ratio gearbox, vented disc brakes, and lightweight body panels. This 1973 example is believed to have been shipped new to Australia, where it was subsequently modified for circuit racing and driven by New Zealand driver Norris Miles. The car returned to Germany in 1984 and later passed to a UK owner in 1990; it awaits full restoration.

Maintenance & restoration
- —Modification
The car was adapted for circuit racing with modifications including BBS alloy wheels, a ZF five-speed gearbox, an Atlas rear axle with four-link and Watts linkage geometry, a limited-slip differential, coil-spring suspension all round, and disc brakes. The timing of these changes cannot be confirmed from the available documentation.
Modifications are believed to have been carried out during the car's time in Australia, but this cannot be verified from the existing paperwork.
- —Engine rebuild
The original RS 2600 V6 engine is present but currently non-operational and requires a complete recommission before the car can be driven.
Work outstanding at time of cataloguing; no record of when the engine was last run.
