A genuine 1967 Porsche 911 S, completed in December 1966 and first delivered through a Southern California dealership in early 1967, this car carries its original numbers-matching engine — bored to 2.3 litres — alongside a period-correct 902/02 gearbox. Acquired by renowned Porsche collector Magnus Walker after more than a decade of obscurity, the car was de-flared from a prior wide-body conversion back to correct short-wheelbase bodywork, then personalised into a lightweight, R-inspired street machine retaining original fenders and factory brightwork details.

Maintenance & restoration
- —Modification
Engine bored out from original 2.0-litre displacement to 2.3 litres while remaining the original numbers-matching unit; short-ratio 'airport' gearing also installed, believed to have been carried out by a previous owner.
Discovered during subsequent engine work performed under Walker's ownership; exact date and workshop unknown.
- —BodyworkFrank Turner
Wide-body turbo flares removed and correct short-wheelbase wheel arches sourced from a donor car were welded onto the original, undisturbed front fenders and rear quarters, restoring the proper narrow silhouette.
Original fenders were confirmed intact throughout the process by the presence of the VIN stamping inside the headlight bucket; trailing arms were original short-wheelbase items, aiding correct arch alignment.
- —Engine rebuild
Engine work carried out during Walker's ownership, at which point the prior bore-out to 2.3 litres was confirmed; non-original but period-correct 902/02-type gearbox fitted in place of the original 901/02 unit.
The 902/02 transmission is valued for its reinforced input shaft and revised differential.
- —Modification
Interior and exterior personalisation by Walker: vintage Ultra Shield bucket seats installed with self-upholstered tartan trim; front hood repainted; sport rear decklid and twin-pipe exhaust added; concave Outlaw 15x7 wheels fitted; steering wheel replaced; decorative trim largely removed; red bonnet and decklid straps, drilled door handles, hand-painted number roundel, and R-inspired rocker script applied.
Brass chrome-plated horn grilles retained as original details throughout the modifications.
