Chassis AM300/1272 is one of 34 DB2/4 MkII Fixed Head Coupés built, and among the 18 exported from the factory — making it an exceptionally rare left-hand-drive example. Ordered new in 1957 by a California resident and completed in a two-tone red and grey exterior over grey leather, the car remained with its original owner for approximately five decades before passing to a second owner in 2007. Original factory correspondence and warranty documentation accompany the car, underlining its strong provenance.

Maintenance & restoration
- 2007Restoration
Following acquisition, the bodywork was repainted bright red; wheels were refinished in silver; the entire interior including carpets and headliner was retrimmed in bright magenta leather; power windows and mirrors were fitted; an engine bay repaint in blue was carried out; and a modern air-conditioning system was installed under the dashboard, requiring modification of the bonnet release bar.
Cosmetic and mechanical scope was extensive but it is not confirmed whether any internal engine work accompanied the external engine repaint.
