1970 BMW 2002 Tii Group 2 Touring Car
A BMW 2002 Tii built and developed as a period-specification touring car racer, originally prepared by Ian Macdonald to Group I regulations and campaigned in 2011–2012 by a father-and-son pairing. Subsequently acquired and extensively converted to full Group II specification, the car features a seam-welded and lightened shell with FIA roll cage, a Lester Owen-built 2-litre engine producing 240 bhp, and a comprehensive suite of new mechanical components. The conversion reportedly cost in excess of £80,000.

Full conversion from Group I to Group II specification, including installation of a new Lester Owen-built 2-litre engine dynoed at 240 bhp, rebuilt 5-speed gearbox, new limited-slip differential, new steel race exhaust and manifold, new Group II brake discs and calipers, new Bilstein dampers and suspension, and adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars with adjustable camber plates. Final weight achieved just over 790 kg.
