Chassis 01862 is a 1971 European-specification Dino 246 GT, originally finished in Giallo Fly over a black vinyl interior and delivered new through the Charles Pozzi distributorship in Paris. Its most celebrated custodian was Formula 1 driver René Arnoux, who owned the car during his time competing for Renault and later Ferrari, reportedly having the Dino restored at the Maranello factory while he was a Scuderia driver. The car has remained in French ownership throughout its life.
