CSX2407 is a 1964 Ford-powered Shelby 289 Cobra with documented competition history and distinguished early ownership. Delivered new to RBM Atlanta and soon acquired by George Arents III — NART co-founder and partner in Luigi Chinetti's Ferrari distributorship — the car was converted to full competition specification for the 1965 SCCA Southeast Region A-Production season, driven by Ron Hutchinson to a second-place overall finish in the standings. After passing through several owners it was comprehensively restored by Cobra Restorers of Kennesaw, Georgia, and subsequently rebuilt mechanically to a high standard. It remains eligible and well-prepared for continued vintage racing.
