Among the earliest 911 Targas ever built, this January 1967 Porsche 911S 2.0 'Soft Window' Targa carries chassis number 065 and retains its numbers-matching engine and transmission. Originally delivered in Germany, it is finished in Polo Red over black leatherette and was specified with desirable factory options including Fuchs rims, Webasto heater, and ski rack. A comprehensive nut-and-bolt restoration exceeding $250,000 was completed in 2011, after which the car was used in Europe for over a decade, covering around 6,000 miles, and earned Best of Show at a major German concours that year.
