A 1977 Lotus Esprit Series I, the 27th of 459 U.S.-market examples and only the second of six finished in the rare orange self-color gelcoat (S04), completed at the factory on 16 February 1977. Stored in climate-controlled conditions by its first owner after accumulating approximately 4,000 miles, the car retains its original tires, Wolfrace chrome alloy wheels, and near-new interior, making it an exceptionally well-preserved time-capsule example of the earliest, unmodified Esprit design.
