1957 Lancia Aurelia B20 GT Series VI

B20-3857roadItaly
Engine
2.5L V6

The Lancia Aurelia B20 GT is widely regarded as one of the defining grand tourers of the postwar era, notable as the world's first production car fitted with a V6 engine and radial tyres. Chassis B20-3857 is a 6th Series example, one of only 25 imported into Britain by Lancia England, which retained it as a press and demonstrator car; it was road-tested by Autocar in November 1957. Following a documented full restoration in Italy during the 1990s, it returned to the UK in 2008, participated in the 2010 Mille Miglia Storica, and has been maintained by recognised Aurelia specialists.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
