A 1912 Mitchell Model 5-6 'Baby Six' roadster, one of the early American attempts at a downsized yet prestige-oriented automobile, powered by a 364.5 cubic inch F-head inline six-cylinder engine. Built by the former bicycle manufacturer Mitchell Motor Car Company of Racine, Wisconsin, the car retains its original chassis plate, engine stampings, top, floorboards, and instrument panel. It received a cosmetic refinish at some point, presenting today in black and white with button-tufted leather upholstery and period brass acetylene lighting.
