A 1959 Lancia Flaminia Sport Zagato, chassis 824.00.1011, among the first 99 pre-series cars built with covered headlights. Delivered new to Italy with factory competition specification including a triple-Weber 2.5-litre 3C engine, perspex windows, and competition seats. Subsequently upgraded with a 2.8-litre Supersport engine rebuilt by Jim Stokes Engineering to produce 180 bhp, while the original drivetrain is retained and included in the sale. Used extensively on international long-distance rallies.

A complete 2.8-litre Flaminia Supersport engine with large 40mm carburettors and a Supersport close-ratio transaxle with taller final drive were sourced and fitted in place of the original 2.5-litre drivetrain.
Parts supplied by Omicron Engineering; original 2.5-litre engine and transaxle retained and included with the car.

The installed 2.8-litre engine was further developed and rebuilt, achieving outputs of approximately 180 bhp and 191 lb/ft torque with a broad, near-flat torque curve across the mid-range; dyno documentation available.
The same workshop had previously rebuilt Lancia D50 Grand Prix engines for the owner and Guido Rosani.

An auxiliary 15-litre fuel tank and twin Facit electric fuel pumps were installed to extend range for long-distance rally use.
