FV4-57H-41roadFrance
Engine
Chrysler 300 FirePower Hemi V8, dual four-barrel carburetors, 325 hp

A very early example of the rare Facel Vega FV4, one of only 67 built between May 1957 and February 1958, and believed to be among just 36 equipped with the dual-quad 325 hp Chrysler 300 FirePower 'Typhoon' Hemi. Originally delivered to Texas and regularly used through 1968, the car was then disassembled in anticipation of restoration by an early enthusiast owner. It was subsequently acquired by noted collector Wayne Davis, who commissioned a show-quality restoration completed in 2012. The car presents with cordovan leather interior, Wilton carpets, wire wheels, and a full set of fitted luggage.

Are you the owner of this car?

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
