1970 Royale RP6/17 Sports Race Car

The Royale RP6/8 is one of nine RP6s constructed by Royale Racing, the Park Royal-based concern founded by Bob King in 1968. Originally built as an RP6, this car was subsequently upgraded to RP17 specification by Peter Richardson, with FIA/HTP certification issued in 2014. It has been campaigned with considerable success in historic motorsport, including an outright victory at Brands Hatch in 2023, and has been maintained to a high standard by Gerry Wainwright Motorsport throughout its recent history.
