Chassis 0405 GT is the 25th of just 35 Ferrari 250 Europa GTs produced, and one of only 27 bodied by Pinin Farina in the standard series coupe form. Assembled at the Pinin Farina works in August 1955 and finished in Grigio over an Arancio leather interior, it served as a factory show car at the 1955 Paris Salon before export to the United States. The car passed through numerous American collectors over several decades and has been comprehensively restored to its original factory specification under its current long-term ownership. It holds Ferrari Classiche Red Book certification confirming matching-numbers gearbox, rear axle, and coachwork, and has earned multiple Platinum Awards at the Cavallino Classic.
