1961 Deep Sanderson 301

The Deep Sanderson 301 is the original prototype Works car of a limited-production fibreglass-bodied sports coupé developed by Chris Lawrence's LawrenceTune team around a rear-mounted Mini engine. Launched at the 1961–62 Olympia Sports Car Show, it was raced at Le Mans in 1963 and 1964, and competed at Spa and the Nürburgring. After decades as a road car, it was rediscovered in Leeds in the early 2000s, fully restored by Lawrence himself, and has since competed regularly at Goodwood and the Le Mans Classic. It holds FIA/HTP papers valid to 2031.
