1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302 Trans-Am

Chassis 628 is the sole survivor of three Boss 302 Mustangs built by Kar Kraft and prepared by Shelby American for the 1969 Trans-Am season. Driven that year by Peter Revson, Horst Kwech, and Dan Gurney, it went on to race with the Bud Moore team in 1970 and Try Promotions in 1971. Its two sister cars were destroyed in period competition. Discovered in 1987 and fully restored, it subsequently enjoyed a successful career in historic Trans-Am racing.
