Chassis BC4LCH is the first of only sixteen left-hand drive Bentley S1 Continental Flying Spurs bodied by H.J. Mulliner, designed by Chief Designer George Moseley under design number 7443. Clad in hand-formed aluminium coachwork finished in Shell Grey over Black Garnet with Magnolia hide and burl walnut, it benefits from a raised compression ratio and longer final drive ratio. Originally delivered in October 1957 to its first owner in Baltimore, the car remained in American hands until 2005, when it crossed to Europe for a comprehensive frame-off restoration, followed by a further concours-standard refinement completed in 2019.
