1962 Triumph TR4

A Triumph TR4 prepared to a high standard for historic motorsport competition, registered '817 URU' and presented in Sapphire Blue with white stripes and a matching hardtop. Equipped with a full FIA/MSA HTP valid through 2028 (Class GTS II) and road-legal with a UK V5C, the car has been actively campaigned at events including the Spa Six Hours and Silverstone Classic. A comprehensive mechanical build in 2022 included a billet-crank race engine producing 206 bhp, and further refreshment was carried out in 2023–24.

Purchased the car approximately three years before the sale at £55,000 and subsequently invested a further £35,000 in upkeep and improvements. Raced the car at multiple historic events and maintained a large history file documenting expenditure and work carried out.

Full race engine build featuring a billet crankshaft and connecting rods, uprated valves and pistons, achieving a claimed output of 206 bhp. Dyno documentation available. New clutch, starter motor, and differential also fitted.
Dry weight recorded at 925 kg. Twin-bearing rear axle (BPA specification) installed at the same time.

Comprehensive suspension overhaul covering new dampers, springs, and Nylotron bushes throughout, followed by a full geometry alignment. New radiator, race distributor, and fuel pumps also installed.
