The BMW 503 was a low-volume, V8-powered grand touring convertible designed by Count Albrecht von Goertz and built between 1956 and 1960, with only 138 cabriolet examples completed. Chassis 69264 is a Series II example, distinguishable by its floor-shift gearbox arrangement shared with the 507. The car was comprehensively restored to concours standard in 2002 by German marque specialist Veteranen Laden of Oberhausen and remains in excellent condition, accompanied by restoration photographs and German registration documents.
