1965 Porsche 911 SWB 2.0
Chassis 300723 is among the earliest Porsche 911s produced, rolling off the Zuffenhausen line in mid-March 1965 and dispatched new to California. Finished in Signal Red over black leatherette with Peptia cloth inlays, and equipped from new with a Webasto heater and Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio, it is a left-hand-drive first-year short-wheelbase example. Imported to the United Kingdom roughly three decades ago, it has been a long-term single-owner car in North Yorkshire and remains largely unmodified, with documented bodywork repairs carried out shortly before being placed in heated dry storage.

Corrosion on the right-hand side was addressed by cutting out and replacing the door pillar and sill; a new sill was fabricated, the floor pan repaired, and the affected door apertures were prepared and refinished. Approximately 66 hours of labour were recorded for the bodywork element.
Combined with a concurrent service, the total invoice came to £7,388. Indicated odometer reading at the time was 76,042 miles.
