A 1931 Packard 840 five-passenger phaeton from the Eighth Series, originally sold through a Chicago dealership. Restored to a high standard by noted restorer Bob Mosier for California owner Bob Vitz, the car took first in class at Pebble Beach in 1981 and a perfect score at the CCCA Far West Grand Classic the same year. It subsequently passed through several collectors before entering its present collection in the early 1990s.
