1978 Volkswagen Beetle Last Edition

This 1978 Volkswagen Beetle is one of 300 final German-built right-hand-drive examples produced to mark the end of European manufacture, numbered #111 of the sequence. Finished in Diamond Silver (L97A) with a 1,200cc engine, blue velour interior, flat windscreen, and a numbered dashboard plaque, it belongs to the Last Edition Beetle (LEB) series — the smallest-production special edition of the model's European run. Having covered just over 10,000 miles, it underwent sympathetic restoration between 2011 and 2013 and has been lightly used since.
