- Princess Blue

Chassis CSX 2344 is a 1964 AC Cobra 289 finished in Princess Blue over black leather, delivered new to a Florida family who retained it for nearly four decades. Remarkable for its near-total originality — including its first engine, transmission, upholstery, tools, and accessories — the car was stored from 1974, lightly maintained by a NASA engineer-owner, and later recommissioned mechanically by Lee Holman of Holman-Moody. Its comprehensive original documentation, including financing papers, warranty cards, gymkhana trophies, and a 1964 World's Fair ticket, makes it one of the most intact surviving small-block Cobras.

Repairs were carried out with factory-sourced Shelby components. The top irons, wrapped in 1970 newspaper, are believed to date from around this period.

The car was brought to Lee Holman for mechanical recommissioning to return it to reliable running order; cosmetic and originality aspects were deliberately left untouched.
Work was commissioned by Robert Lindauer Jr. after the car had been in extended storage. The brief was strictly mechanical, preserving the car's original patina and all original components.
