Chassis 02048 is a 1971 Ferrari Dino 246 GT built in M-Series specification, one of 506 such examples incorporating revised five-stud wheels, enlarged rear track, and various mechanical refinements. Originally delivered in right-hand drive to the Channel Islands via Maranello Concessionaires, it was finished in Argento Metallizzato over black vinyl. After passing through several early British owners, the car suffered accident damage around 1983, was subsequently restored and repainted red, and has remained with the same family since 1985. The engine was fully rebuilt in 2003 and the car retains an extensive MoT history spanning over four decades.
