CSX 2188 is a 1963 Ford-powered 289 Cobra, one of the most celebrated iterations of Carroll Shelby's Anglo-American sports car, originally delivered to a Philadelphia dealership in December 1963. After passing through several Pennsylvania owners it was used briefly as a drag racer before being returned to street trim. A marque specialist in Detroit completed a thorough restoration that included an engine rebuild by Roush, refinishing in black over red leather, and reassembly with its original bodywork components. The car retains a period-correct five-bolt block, original T10 four-speed, and numerous factory-specification details.
