The Aston Martin Lagonda Series 1 is among the rarest of post-war Aston Martins, with only eight examples produced between 1974 and 1976. Chassis 12006, the sixth car built in period, was displayed at the 1975 Earls Court Motor Show and originally left the factory in Cosmic Fire Royal Claret with a black interior. It was subjected to a comprehensive rebuild by RS Williams in 2006, during which the original 5.3-litre engine was replaced with the firm's 7.0-litre conversion producing approximately 480bhp and 550lb/ft of torque, alongside extensive chassis, interior, and refinement upgrades. The car has covered only around 3,200 miles since that restoration.

This car's public record is built from its auction and competition history. Register your ownership and privately add your own records to make it a verified Legacy Metrics passport — provenance that backs your car's value at sale and gives your insurer evidence to price against. Roy reviews and verifies every registration personally.

Each chassis record is compiled from public auction archives and links to its source material. Ownership, competition and maintenance entries are extracted from those catalogue listings by an LLM, which can make mistakes — please contact us with any corrections. The summary is Legacy Metrics’ own writing; we do not reproduce catalogue text.

“Full” and “partial” documentation labels indicate how well each entry is corroborated in the underlying sources, not an audit of the car’s physical paperwork. Names of recent or living owners are withheld for privacy.
