Chassis 8883 is among the earliest surviving Ferrari 330 GTCs, identified as the 28th example built, delivered new to a Sig. DiGianni in Italy before export to the United States. The model, introduced at the 1966 Geneva Salon, blends styling cues from several Ferrari contemporaries atop the 275 GTB chassis with a four-litre Colombo V-12 and rear transaxle. This particular car was acquired in 1977 by a mechanic who had trained at the Maranello factory and subsequently worked for Luigi Chinetti's NART team; it was last exhibited publicly at the 1984 International Ferrari Concours in Carmel and has remained unrestored in private ownership since.
