The hand-formed aluminium alloy body closely mirrors Malcolm Sayer's original design, and the specification includes a rare period C-Type intake manifold with triple Weber DCOE carburettors. Finished in British Racing Green over Suede Green, the car is documented from build with a photographic record and is regarded among the most faithful C-Type recreations available.

Complete ground-up construction by Proteus Sports & Racing Cars using a Jaguar Mk II 3.8 Saloon donor, incorporating hand-formed aluminium coachwork on a bespoke chassis replicating the original C-Type structure, with a tuned XK inline-six fitted with a rare original C-Type intake manifold and triple Weber DCOE carburettors.
The entire build process was photographically documented in an album starting from the donor Mk II.
