Chassis 670047 is an early alloy-bodied Jaguar XK 120 roadster, reportedly the third such car delivered to the United States, and is distinguished by its exceptional state of original preservation. First acquired by Brooks 'Kip' Stevens — prominent industrial designer and SCCA Milwaukee Region Activities Chairman — it was campaigned at Watkins Glen and Elkhart Lake in the early 1950s and retained by Stevens until his death in 1996. The car retains much of its original 1950 paintwork, interior, and brightwork, and has passed through only a handful of careful subsequent owners.
