A left-hand-drive, U.S.-specification Jaguar Mark IV Drophead Coupe delivered new to International Motors in Los Angeles in June 1948, fitted with the desirable 3½-litre engine. A concours-quality restoration completed in 2000 produced the current burgundy and black livery with chrome wire wheels and whitewall tyres. The car subsequently scored 99.91 points at a regional Jaguar Club of North America Concours in Austin, Texas, and retains JDHT certification confirming matching numbers.
