Full disassembly and comprehensive mechanical upgrade taking over two years: original 2.8-litre inline-six replaced with a 4.3-litre 24-valve V8 from a 2002 CLK 430, five-speed automatic transmission fitted, rear subframe and suspension components sourced from the donor car, custom 16-inch wheels fabricated to accept original hubcaps, and CLK 430 four-wheel disc brakes installed. Interior refurbished with black leather, modern air conditioning, and a Bluetooth stereo system styled to preserve the classic appearance.
Donor vehicle was a 2002 Mercedes-Benz CLK 430. Both the Pagoda removable hardtop and a soft top are retained with the car.
