The 1971 Maserati Ghibli (chassis 115.2392) is a low-mileage, sky-blue coupé bodied by Ghia and powered by a 4.7-litre twin-cam aluminium V8. Optioned from new with Borrani wire wheels and power steering, it was delivered in northern Germany, passed into a significant Essen-area collection, and was restored using new old-stock components before appearing at the Louis Vuitton Concours d'Élégance at Bagatelle in 1997. Subsequently acquired by noted automotive journalist Gilles Bonafous, it has been cherished across all its custodianships and shows approximately 35,000 km.
