A 1932 Packard Deluxe Eight phaeton, the 27th of approximately 30 produced that year and believed to be one of seven surviving examples. Numbers-matching throughout, it retains its original engine, steering gear, coachwork, and brass vehicle plate, and was first delivered in Newark, New Jersey, in November 1932. Discovered in a New Jersey backyard in the early 1950s for a reported $35, it subsequently passed through several noted enthusiasts, underwent a restoration in the mid-1950s, and received a comprehensive three-year restoration completed around 2010, emerging in black with burgundy leather trim.
