Delivered new through a Karlsruhe dealer in April 1956, the car passed through a small number of well-documented American owners and received a thorough restoration under marque specialist Charles Brahms, followed by a comprehensive cosmetic and mechanical freshening at Hjeltness Restoration during its tenure in the James Patterson collection. It has reportedly won Best in Show at the Lake Mirror Classic.

    Comprehensive restoration carried out by Charles Brahms, a leading 300 Sc specialist of the era, resulting in a complete and flawless presentation of the car.

    Commissioned by owner Michael Hall during his tenure in Newport Beach. Dearborn's correspondence described the car as entirely original prior to this work.

    Hjeltness Restoration

    Thorough mechanical attention covering water pump rebuilding, brake servicing including master and wheel cylinder sleeving, repair and reinstallation of temperature and amperage gauges, replacement of various gauges and seals, and renewal of battery cables and hold-downs.

    Wheel and master cylinders were sleeved by White Post Restorations as part of the brake work. Carried out during James Patterson's ownership.

  3. Bodywork
    Hjeltness Restoration

    Cosmetic refurbishment including replacement of front and rear carpets, re-veneering of all interior woodwork, recovering of the leather dashboard and glovebox door, rectification of minor paint blemishes, replacement of bumper guard rubbers, and rebuilding of the radio.

    Radio was rebuilt by specialist Charles Siegfried as part of the same programme. Carried out during James Patterson's ownership.
