1932 Auburn 12-160A Custom Speedster

This Auburn V-12 Speedster is a composite assembled in the 1960s from authentic period components by Ohio enthusiast Harold A. Smith, who sourced the frame, engine, body, and trim parts from across the United States over five years. Following acquisition at the first Kirk F. White auction in 1971, it earned CCCA Senior status and later received a comprehensive restoration at Stone Barn in New Jersey. By 2014 it had achieved CCCA Premier status with a perfect 100-point score, as well as an ACD Club Senior First Place Primary award and a People's Choice Award.

Harold A. Smith assembled the car from authentic Auburn components gathered over approximately five years, sourcing the frame, engine, body, and miscellaneous parts from locations across the eastern United States. Custom-level trim was fitted including chrome wire wheels, chromed lighting, and the Auburn Flying Man mascot.
Advertised in May 1968 with approximately 600 miles completed since the restoration was finished.
